新型冠状病毒肺炎属于中医学"湿毒疫"范畴,病位在肺,是疫疠之邪夹"湿"伤肺而及于全身,可伤及营血,逆传心包,气阴两虚。对早期轻症者、逐渐化热者、重症者、病情危重者、恢复期患者分别采用祛湿宣肺,清气分湿热、清热泻肺、凉血化瘀、扶正泻实、调理阴阳为治则,显示出中医药在新型冠状病毒肺炎治疗中的重要作用。

Novel coronavirus pneumonia(NCP) belongs to the category of "dampness toxin epidemic" in traditional Chinese medicine. The disease is located in the lungs. It is caused by the pathogenic "pestilence" with dampness, which hurts the lungs and spreads throughout the body. It may hurt ying-blood, reversely transmised to the pericardium and leading to qi and Yin deficiency.
